This mine is located near the main peak of west scope of the northern section of the Great Xing’an Mountains, with many mine bodies. There are 87 mine bodies on the 2-meter long metallogenic belt. Most of the mine bodies are steep, from narrow to extremely thick. The modes of occurrence of mine bodies are various. Part of mine bodies ranks as group of lodes. According to the above mining conditions. Xinhai designed different mining methods for different ore sections.
According to the modes of occurrence and mining technology conditions of mine bodies, the principle of fully used of mineral resources, effectively protecting surface environment and the safety of mining operators, and the above mine body characteristics and combined with other similar mining methods, the mine bodies thickness less than 6m are mining with flat bottom structure shallow hole method. The mine bodies with thickness between 6 to 12m are mining with segmental mining method in the stage of segmental drilling along the strike step. The bottom structure is single pulse outboard shovel out of mine. The mine bodies with thickness between 12 to 24m are mining with segmental mining method in the stage of segmental drilling arranged vertically. The above two kinds of mining methods are designed to fill empty space later. The mine bodies with thickness over 24m is mining with two-step filling mining method arranged vertically.

◆ Mine ventilation:
The ventilation of mine is mechanical ventilation using withdrawable ventilation. When mining ore bodies above 870m, the fresh wind enters from the 870m level main adit. After washing working face, the wind goes out to the ground surface from the west wing of mine. The ventilation fan is installed in the dedicated return air tunnel, which is in 990m of the west wing of mine. The required wind volume in the mine is 86.4m3/s, and the wind resistance is 2502.9Pa.
There are two part of ventilation in the part below 870m level. Part of ventilation is the fresh wind from the 870m level main adit. Part of wind enters interior shaft through 870m middle air tunnel. Part of wind enters the combined shaft through 870m middle air tunnel, and cleaning the all downhole sections. The interior shaft return wind is both side back wind mixing in the 930m middle section, and going out to the ground surface through return air shaft in west wing. The combined shaft return wind is the return wind from the east wing to the 870m return channel and going out to the ground surface.
◆ Drainage system:
When mining above 870m middle sections, gravity flow is the main drainage method. When mining below 870m, the central drainage pump room is built near the 620m middle yard. The water burst is pumped to the 870m main transportation flat gutter from 620m middle pump room. Mining sedimentation tank is built near the 870m adit entrance. The underground drainage sediments and the overflow flows to the return water pool through pipes.
